Tandem offers investors equal share deal

Jordan Williams | 14:09 Friday 16th February 2018

Tandem Bank has invited its 2,000 investors on the Seedrs crowdfunding platform to subscribe for more shares in the business.

The latest offering follows the issuance of shares for the acquisition of Harrods Bank and is being offered on the same terms as the institutional offer.

This acquisition provided Tandem with a full banking licence, access to Harrods Bank customers, £80m of capital, a £375m mortgage book and over £400m of savings accounts.

Ricky Knox, founder and CEO at Tandem (pictured above), said: “It is very important to Tandem that we look after the community of investors who have helped us so much and making this offer is more proof that we are determined to be a good bank and do the right thing.

“With our new banking licence, banking app and fast-growing product range, 2018 is going to be a very exciting year for Tandem.

“The dream has finally become a reality.”

Earlier this month, Tandem announced a new partnership with cognitive banking company Personetics to provide its customers insights and guidance with artificial intelligence.
