Redwood Bank has appointed two business lending specialists to help it keep pace with demand for its business mortgages.
The challenger bank has appointed Gareth Claxton (pictured above) and Ciaran Kilheeney as business development managers.
Gareth will be responsible for the South and East, while Ciaran will cover Warrington and the North West.
Graham Reynolds, commercial director at Redwood, said it was delighted to welcome Gareth and Ciaran to the team.
“Their considerable experience and reputations in commercial lending proceed them, and they are a great fit for Redwood Bank as we
continue to deliver an exceptional and personal level of service to our customers and brokers in our local communities and beyond.
“The bank's flexibility and highly personal underwriting services – combined with our new larger team – means we are better suited than ever
to service our brokers and support our customers in helping them to make their very important decisions fast.”
Gareth brings with him more than 30 years of experience within both the high street and challenger banking environments.
"I've been blown away with the team's dedication to putting the customer at the centre of the decision-making process, as well as Redwood
Bank's commitment to building its broker panel, as well as actually lending to its business customers.

“I am very proud to join the South and East team at the beginning of its exciting journey.”
Ciaran (pictured above), who has worked in the industry for 13 years, has been involved with a variety of customers and SMEs, including helping many to build property portfolios and own their own commercial premises.
“Redwood Bank is really making its mark in Warrington and the North West,” said Ciaran.
“I'm looking forward to helping our local SMEs and brokers achieve their development ambitions, as well as playing my part in the continued growth of Redwood Bank in the region.
“I am really proud to join the Warrington team.”
Redwood introduced its business savings account and SME mortgages in August last year.
