Lisa will work with the organisation to continue its support of the regional digital network and provide a unique marketing perspective.

Lisa will join Richard Gregory, director of Tech North, and Herb Kim, executive chair, on the board along with other members including Hugh Campbell from GP Bullhound, Lee Perkins from Metronet and Dave Richards from Wandisco.

“I'm incredibly happy to have Lisa Wood join the Tech North advisory board,” said Herb.

“One of the main objectives for Tech North is to raise the awareness of the northern tech sector and its companies.

“We couldn't have found a stronger adviser to help here than Lisa.

“It's a real benefit for us to have a representative of one of the North's most important tech start-ups joining us on our journey.”

Lisa has 23 years of experience in marketing, was recognised in Campaign's 2017 Power 100 list of influential marketers and has held roles across a number of marketing disciplines.

“I'm delighted to be using my marketing expertise to help support Tech North's objectives and look forward to playing a small part in building a thriving tech sector across the North of England,” said Lisa.

“It's critical for Atom that we're nurturing the right skills and talent in the region and it's great to be able to make a contribution to this.

“Since Atom was founded in 2014, we've had an incredible journey and now want to contribute and play a bigger role in the North tech scene.”
