
Fintech company, Issufy has appointed John Crompton as chairman of its advisory board.
In his new role, John will work closely with Issufy's board and senior management on firm strategy, product development and to expand the company's reach within the investment banking community.
John was previously global head of equity capital markets at HSBC, where he also ran corporate finance.
He also worked at Morgan Stanley for more than 20 years across London, New York and Hong Kong, where he also led the firm's equity capital market activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia.
John ran Merrill Lynch's EMEA equity capital markets team between 2007 and 2008, and served as HM Treasury's senior corporate finance adviser and as head of market investments at UK Financial Investments, where he managed the UK government's equity stakes in RBS and Lloyds.
Issufy was founded by Nawaz Imam and Shanshan Fu and provides a software platform that helps banks manage information flow and capture feedback from investors.
Nawaz previously worked at Citigroup and JP Morgan in equity sales, trading strategy and asset management.
Shanshan spent over a decade at Deloitte advising financial institutions on implementing structural change and modernising systems.
