Monzo has announced that it has started rolling out its current accounts.
This decision comes three months after Monzo was awarded its full UK banking licence.
The mobile bank stated that in the beginning it would be taking things slowly, where it aims to offer between 10,000 and 20,000 current accounts to existing customers over the next three months, before rolling out to all existing customers by the end of 2017.
At the time of publication, 92 Monzo current accounts had been rolled out.
The mobile bank has also announced the launch of Monzo University.
This new platform will merge knowledge from experts within the Monzo team with external wisdom to help people gain a greater understanding of financial matters.
The website will use a number of different mediums – text, imagery or video and sometimes a combination of all three – to impart knowledge on issues such as jargon, needlessly complex numbers and obtuse processes.
You can access Monzo University on the mobile bank's website.
The first version of the learning centre was released last week and focused on credit scores and debt advice.
