Unity Trust Bank has opened a second commercial office as part of its expansion plans.

The new office on Manchester’s Deansgate will be the base for two commercial banking officers and four relationship managers.

Opened by mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, it will provide North West businesses with tailored support.

The ethical bank recently revealed that its lending to businesses had increased by 47% (H1 2019) on the same period last year (H1 2018).

Margaret Willis, CEO at Unity Trust Bank (pictured above), said: “Our latest office launch marks a significant milestone for our brand.

“We’ve seen an uplift in new customers and we’re thrilled to be bringing our bespoke financial services to the North West business community.

“Our customers, employees and the communities we service are at the heart of our brand.

“To underline our commitment, we have a robust volunteering, education and fundraising programme to ensure we’re making a positive difference.”
