Leek United Building Society has strengthened its intermediary team with five new appointments.
George Simpson (pictured above, centre) has been promoted to the role of telephone-based BDM, having previously served as a trainee mortgage adviser.
He will provide technical assistance and help to answer broker queries while supporting Leek United’s relationship with mortgage clubs and networks.
Dan Berrisford (left) has been named BDM for the North, while Deb Bree (second right) will cover the South as a BDM.
They will work closely with mortgage clubs and attend broker training days.
Meanwhile, Laura Allcock (right) has joined as intermediary mortgages team manager, while Lizzie Galley has been recruited as marketing campaign manager.
They will both help to ensure than intermediaries have up-to-date information about products and criteria.
Lisa Buckley, head of sales and marketing at Leek United, said: “The new appointments demonstrate our commitment to this vitally important distribution channel, and we are in a great position to build broker relationships and continue to provide a high level of service.
“The new-look team will be working closely with brokers to develop new business.
“The team has a high level of expertise to support brokers via the head office team and with BDMs out on the road.”
