Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance has appointed James Ambrose as a regional sales director.
James — who will be largely focused on covering the Thames Valley and Solent region — has over 20 years of experience in the asset-based lending market.
He has previously held senior roles at ABN Amro, Lloyds Bank and Credit Agricole.
In his new role, James will support SMEs seeking asset-based lending solutions from £1m–50m by working alongside accountants and business advisers.
He will also be working alongside regional sales directors Tony Young and Matt Alis, and portfolio and structuring director Jeremy Uphill.
“Secure Trust Bank’s flexible approach to lending makes it such an exciting proposition,” said James.
“With greater flexibility than some of the high street lenders, we are able to fund a range of situations and support businesses of all sizes [to] achieve their growth ambitions.”
Sean Powell, national sales director at Secure Trust Bank, added: “We noticed a growing demand for our services in the South of England, which led us to launch a new, larger office in the region earlier this year.
“With the addition of James, we now have a three-strong team with a wealth of experience in supporting businesses and the wider business community.”
