Leek United has appointed Abigail Bowden (pictured above) as the new manager of its Ashbourne branch in Derbyshire.
Abigail joined Leek United in April 2018, and initially worked as a customer adviser before progressing to the role of branch deputy manager in January.
She will now serve as the branch manager at its Victoria Square office after taking on the role this month.
Abigail said: “Leek United has been a part of the local economy in Ashbourne for almost 40 years now, and I’m looking forward to continuing to build on all the strong relationships we’ve established in that time.
“We have a terrific, loyal customer base — many of whom we’re on first-name terms with — who place a huge value on the friendly, personal face-to-face service we offer, and as a team we also take great pride in playing our part in the local community.”
