Tandem relocates to larger offices amid plans to double workforce

Tandem has moved its London headquarters to a 16,000 sq ft office in Russell Square amid plans to double the size of its workforce in 2019.

By relocating from its former King’s Cross base, the digital bank has doubled the capacity of its headquarters to over 230 staff.

“With our new offices, we have the perfect base to nurture our growing teams and attract new talent from the pool available,” said Ricky Knox, co-founder and CEO at Tandem (pictured above).

Dan Atkinson, chief people officer at Tandem, added: "Tandem has seen unprecedented growth since we launched 16 months ago and have ambitious plans for 2019.

“In order to grow, Tandem needs direct access to talented people and it’s getting harder to recruit EU nationals.

“We expect the UK tech talent pool to narrow further and feel that the UK government is not doing enough to support one of the key drivers of the UK economy.”

Ricky recently claimed that the Bank of England should cut interest rates to boost the economy.
