C Hoare & Co has announced that it will open its first office outside of London at the end of March.
The private bank will open the new office in Milton Hall, Cambridge, a refurbished Georgian manor house.
It will initially be staffed by two relationship managers, Peter Gale and Ellie Newell.
The bank claimed that it represented a “natural springboard” from which to expand its regional footprint.
It is looking to build new customer relationships with some of the region’s large agricultural businesses and estates.
A statement from C Hoare & Co read: “We believe that we can offer a private banking service that is unique to Cambridge, providing a truly bespoke and relationship-led approach.
“It is an exciting opportunity for us to grow our presence over the longer term and we look forward to strengthening relationships with new and existing customers in Cambridge and the surrounding area.”
This comes after Steven Cooper began his new role as CEO at C Hoare & Co earlier this year.
