
Private bank Hampden & Co has announced the launch of a new mobile banking platform.
The solution — which was developed by CREALOGIX, a digital banking software provider — aims to extend the bank’s digital services.
Since its launch in February, the platform has seen a ‘rapid uptake’ from the bank’s high-net-worth client base.
Hampden & Co is also implementing Open Banking capabilities, such as open APIs, in line with PSD2.
Graeme Hartop, chief executive at Hampden & Co, said: “By making professional, personal banking expertise even more convenient to access, we aim to build even more effective relationships with our clients.”
According to information technology specialist CACI, 22 million customers used mobile banking in 2017, with that figure expected to rise to 35 million by 2023.
Hampden & Co plans to release more mobile banking updates in the future.
