Paragon has appointed Jan Greenhalgh as head of new business within its asset finance division.
She joins the specialist bank from RBS, where she worked for 18 years in a variety of roles.
Jan has also held senior posts at Lombard in corporate, commercial, Lombard Asset Management and invoice finance.
In addition, Paragon has appointed Ian Beattie and Vajinder Bal as BDMs.
The specialist bank has also recruited Yanko Dimitrov, Chris Harpley and Cara Chirgwin as assistant relationship managers.
“Over several months, we have made a series of appointments across asset finance to build up this area with experienced people who can expand our capability and improve our customer journey,” said Richard Doe, managing director of commercial lending at Paragon (pictured above).
“This underlines our commitment to invest as we increase our lending to British businesses and broaden our product reach.
“Asset finance, which sits in the commercial lending division, continues to grow strongly at Paragon.
“The recent Q1 trading update showed a 56% increase in lending by asset finance to £93m, compared to £60m in the same period last year.
“There has also been an expansion into new products, including aviation finance and soft asset financing.”
