Paragon has appointed Geoff Duncalf (pictured above) as its new national sales manager for motor finance.
Geoff has joined the specialist bank from Lloyds Banking Group, where he served for eight years, including five years as senior account manager at Black Horse Finance covering the Midlands region.
In his role at Paragon, he will be responsible for leading and developing a team of six regional sales managers with a focus on new partnerships across the UK to form relationships with both dealers and brokers in the motor, light commercial vehicle and leisure markets.
“I have worked my way up in the motor industry, which was important as it allowed me to understand what dealers and brokers want from a lender,” said Geoff.
“I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting new introducers and forging strong, lasting relationships.
“I’m particularly enthusiastic about the digital side of our industry and keen to help and provide feedback to introducers on how this can be developed to enhance the end users’ buying journey – it’s just one great way of how we can add value at no extra cost.”
Julian Rance, director of motor finance at Paragon, added: “The national sales manager position is a new role at Paragon, which aims to further develop and build Paragon’s partnerships with introducers across the motor finance and leisure markets.
“As a specialist lender, Paragon prides itself on having a combined specialist knowledge of both finance and the motor industry and Geoff Duncalf’s strong background in this field reflects that.”
