Gatehouse Bank has hired Zeenat Shaffi (pictured above) as a business development manager for its growing specialist finance team.
Zeenat brings over 13 years of financial services experience to her new role and joins the specialist bank from Principality Building Society, where she was also a BDM.
Prior to this, Zeenat held various positions at Regent Private Finance, Handelsbanken and RBS.
In her new role, she will report to Faisal Dar, head of specialist finance, and will be responsible for identifying, building and managing relationships with the bank’s panel of intermediaries.
Zeenat will be based in the bank’s head office in London.
Paul Stockwell, CCO at Gatehouse Bank, said he was delighted to welcome Zeenat to the company.
“She brings with her a wealth of international home finance experience, which will be invaluable as Gatehouse further cements its position in the specialist finance market.
“Going forward we aim to further develop and expand our offering to UK expats and international customers, and Zeenat will play a key role in our future success.”
