Digital bank Tandem has launched a new credit card to help users who don’t have a credit history to build a strong profile.
The ‘Journey Card’ offers zero transaction fees on both purchases and cash withdrawals, with 56 days interest free on any money spent.
In addition, it comes with a 24.9% APR representative, variable and allows users to spend abroad with no fees.
Cash withdrawals in the UK will be subject to a 2.5% charge, with a minimum charge of £2.50, but there are no fees for withdrawing cash abroad.
This is Tandem’s second credit card offering and its fourth product launch in 10 months.
Ricky Knox, CEO at Tandem, said: “2018 continues to be a transformative year for Tandem.
“Our customer numbers are growing and so is our suite of products.
“We set out to solve real people’s problems with money and with every new product we are in a stronger position to do just that.
“Credit cards are valuable tools and we’re helping people get the most out of them.”
Sven Schindele, head of banking products at Tandem, added: “We are thrilled to be launching our second credit card.
“At Tandem, we are all about financial freedom and that comes from building a healthy credit score and getting the best from the money you have.”
