International payments and money transfer company Paysend has announced the beta program for its new global account service, which allows people to hold, move and spend multiple currencies worldwide.
Built by a team of ex-Revolut engineers and designers, the global account mobile app enables customers to instantly link their Paysend card to the currency of their choosing without fees or hidden transaction costs.
Customers can hold multiple currencies in their account as well as cryptocurrencies.
The global account beta will roll out gradually over the next few months and early users will be able to send feedback directly to the product team.
Paysend currently has over 200,000 existing customers using its products and recently closed a $20m funding round to roll out the global account along with other new services and had seen a threefold increase in users over the last six months.
“In today's global world, we all have mobile-first, busy lives,” said Alex Murashko, product lead for global account at Paysend.
“We’re building a simple money app for a new digital generation of people.
“Our product was designed to create a clear, calm experience for the customer, while giving them complete control of their money.”
