Tesco Bank has announced it has opened its remortgage products to customers interested in moving from the Help to Buy scheme.

Customers on the scheme in England and Wales who are looking to repay their Help to Buy equity loan can now benefit from the supermarket bank’s full range of remortgage products.

The bank also allows mortgage customers to redeem Clubcard points on their monthly repayments.

The news comes after it announced it would offer customers cashback on a range of two- and five-year fixed rate remortgage products.

Julian Hartley, director of mortgages, savings and loans at Tesco Bank, said: “As we reach the five-year anniversary of Help to Buy, many borrowers are reaching the end of their interest-free period.

“We are thrilled to be in a position to open our full range of remortgage products, including 95% LTV and those offering cashback, to those looking to move from the Help to Buy scheme.”
