Ricky Knox, CEO at Tandem (pictured above), marched in this year’s Pride in London parade.
The crowdfunded digital bank is supporting diversity and equality in the banking sector with its Come Together campaign.
This is the first commercial campaign from Tandem, which claims to support its employees and customers to be individual and ‘life rich’.
Ricky said it was proud to have supported this year’s Pride and loved taking part in the event.
“As a challenger bank, we feel it’s right that we help people challenge the status quo, the banking sector is severely failing when it comes to diversity in its workforce.
“We’re here to stand up for what we believe in; community-driven business with people at its heart.”
Tandem sponsored the backstage area of the Women’s Stage in Leicester Square as well as the VIP area.
The line-up for the Diva Women’s Stage included singer-songwriter Lots Holloway, who is also an ambassador for the Come Together campaign.
Fellow Come Together ambassador and former Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten also joined the parade.
Gemma said: “It’s really amazing to see start-up companies like Tandem Bank getting behind initiatives like this.
“It really says a lot about where we are with equality right now.”
