Revolut has announced the launch of Revolut Connect.
The London-based fintech has introduced Revolut Connect as a tool to complement business banking, allowing businesses to easily connect and build integrations for the most popular business apps, including accounting platforms such as FreeAgent, communication tools such as Slack and apps to help with tax, payroll, expense management and more.
Revolut said that apps such as Xero, Sage, FreshBooks and Quaderno would also feature soon as it looks to provide even more integration options.
Customers who use Revolut Connect to integrate with a third-party app can decide what data can be shared and even paused or stopped from being shared at any time, all through their Revolut for Business account.
Domenico De Fano, product owner for business at Revolut, said that modern businesses used a multitude of apps and tools that helped them to simplify their work.
“Obviously there is accounting, but also other things like payroll, communication, expense management and more.
“Traditional banks have historically been closed to the outside world: at Revolut, we want to do the opposite.
“We want to help businesses safely connect their finances to the tools they love.
“At the same time, we want to work with developers and innovators that want to build on top of our platform to create useful apps and integrations for businesses.
“This is why we’ve built Revolut Connect."
Revolut is currently signing up more than 120 businesses per day to Revolut for Business accounts across the UK and Europe, with 60,000 signed up to date.
Existing business account customers have already sent over $350m worth of transfers since it was launched last June, which has saved UK and European customers over $14m in fees to date.
