Revolut introduces price alerts

Martin Greenland | 07:29 Wednesday 21st February 2018

Revolut has announced the introduction of price alerts to its banking app.

The digital banking app will now send notifications to customers whenever the price of a currency goes above or below a certain point.

The notifications are available across the 25 fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies supported by the Revolut app.

Price alerts can notify the customer when to sell their cryptocurrency.

Customers can set up a maximum of 30 different alerts, which can easily be disabled at any point from the alerts page.

Nikolay Storonsky, CEO and founder at Revolut, said: “We believe that everyone should have access to fair exchange rates, which is why we launched our simple price alerts feature to ensure that our customers know exactly when the best exchange rates become available for their currencies and cryptocurrencies.”

This feature comes just two months after Revolut introduced cryptocurrencies to its app.
