Hampshire Trust Bank has announced the appointment of Nicola Fernandez (née Brown) as a business development manager in its asset finance team.
Nicola (pictured above) will be responsible for maintaining and building broker relationships across south-west England and Wales.
She will be based in Exmouth, Devon, and has joined the company from GE Capital.
Nicola said: “On my return to work from maternity leave, I was looking for a new challenge and a place I could make a difference and help support a growing company.
“Hampshire Trust Bank is on a journey and what drew me to the bank and the opportunity was the ability to be a part of influencing and shaping how a company supports the broker market.
“With exciting new developments and a change in market for me, 2018 will be one of learnings, challenges and opportunities.”
Vincenzo Scalzone, head of broker at Hampshire Trust Bank, added: “We are committed to improving the service we provide to our brokers and Nicola's appointment will help to strengthen our proposition across the South West and Wales.
“We are delighted to welcome Nicola on board and are excited about the opportunities available in the year ahead.
“This appointment is part of a wider strategy.
“We have introduced a brand new senior team, made a number of strategic hires to support our brokers on the ground, launched a web portal and app and much more, with plenty more enhancements planned for the year ahead.”
