The Finance Professional Show (FP Show) has announced its conference line-up for this year’s event which has full CPD accreditation.
The conference will feature some of the specialist finance industry's biggest names and also include a debate on the politics of finance with two of the UK's most influential financial journalists.
Sir Christopher Meyer will open the conference programme of the show, which takes place at Olympia in London on Wednesday 8th November.
CPD points can be earned for visiting the show as well as for seminar attendance.
The FP Show 2017 conference line-up includes:
10:30am The conference programme will be opened by Sir Christopher Meyer, who will give the keynote speech.
11:00 Property hour (part one) – A panel of specialist funders made up of Alan Cleary – Precise Mortgages, Karen Bennett – Shawbrook Bank and Liz Syms – Connect for Intermediaries will consider the state of the residential lending market, including term loans, consumer BTL, bridging finance and more.
11:30 Property hour (part two) – A panel of commercial property funders, including Scott Marshall – Roma Finance, Ludo Mackenzie – Octopus Property, Marc Goldberg – Together, Phil Green – Norwich & Peterborough and Amanda Dorel – Lloyds Banking Group, discusses the UK's non-residential finance market in depth.
12:00 noon Banking today – A legion of new banks has not only transformed the way we bank, but the way in which we view the entire system. To discuss the growing importance of this evolving market, our panel of industry leaders includes Andrew Bloom – Masthaven, Graham Olive – OakNorth Bank and Victoria Bateman – RFi Group.
12:30pm Our key debate of the morning session, 'The Politics of Finance' brings together Philip Coggan of The Economist and Larry Elliott, economics editor at The Guardian – two knowledgeable and experienced economics commentators who will discuss our country's current eco-political state. The debate will be mediated by Coreco's Andrew Montlake.

13:30 Speed roundtable session on innovative funding options, including VAT finance from BloomSmith, business finance platforms with Compare My Loan, commodity murabaha and other funding options with Ortus Secured Finance, equity release and later life lending with Pure Retirement and mezzanine loans with Iron Bridge Finance.
14.30 Robert Pritchard, associate director of CBRE Group, the world's largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, will take a closer look at the housing market and its current and future opportunities.
Attendees will also be able to view the conference programme via the recently launched FP Show app.
As well as the conference, there will be a number of financial product providers exhibiting at the show with major players including Lloyds Banking Group, Castle Trust, Hitachi, Shawbrook Bank, Precise Mortgages and Together.
