Hampshire Trust Bank has provided a loan to Wharfedale Homes to fund the construction of a residential advancement in Helmsley, North Yorkshire .
The Knaresborough-based property company has undertaken the development of 60 residential units, which range in size from one-bedroom homes, up to five-bedroom detached houses.
The project – which has a gross development value of circa £18m – will be undertaken in three phases.
The first phase will involve the construction of 14 private houses, with the first completions due in October 2017.
Ten homes in the first phase have already been reserved.
Robert Grigg, managing director of property finance at Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “The development has been designed to blend in with the surrounding environment and is exactly the type of high-quality project that our property finance team is keen to support.
“We are focused on building long-lasting business relationships with experienced property professionals across the UK and look forward to working with Wharfedale Homes again in the future.”
Chris Patmore, Wharfedale Homes director, added; “We have spent nearly 10 years working through the planning system to be able to bring this site forward.
“We have worked closely with the local community, the Helmsley Estate National Park planning officers and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park Committee to create a superb development which is worthy of its very special location.”
