Gatehouse Bank appoints interim CRO

Tom Belger | 12:01 Monday 16th October 2017

Gatehouse Bank has appointed a new interim chief risk officer (CRO).

Mike Coles joins the specialist bank today (16th October) and will help develop Gatehouse's entry into the residential finance sector.

Mike brings significant experience to the role after holding key positions at Aldermore, where he was interim deputy CRO, and National Bank of Kuwait and CAF Bank, where he was interim CRO.

The announcement comes after Gatehouse appointed a new chief commercial officer earlier this year as it announced changes to its executive committee.

“I am delighted Mike is joining the senior team and I look forward to us benefiting from his experience as we develop the bank into new sectors,” said Charles Haresnape, CEO at Gatehouse.

“This is an exciting time for us all.”

Gatehouse is a shariah-compliant bank with divisions in real estate investment, real estate finance, treasury, wealth management and shariah advisory.
