Wyelands Bank has made two additions to its working capital solutions team.
Kelvin Thomas and Henry Wheeler will focus on growing the bank’s asset-based lending offer in key regions.
The appointments are part of the its strategy to help manufacturing and industrial businesses to trade and grow.
Kelvin has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and joins from ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, while Henry previously served at Aldermore, where he was responsible for business development in Yorkshire.
Ian Flaxman, managing director of the working capital solutions team at Wyelands Bank, said: “At Wyelands Bank, we take the time to get to know and understand the businesses we support, helping our customers to unlock growth.
“With a strong track record in asset-based lending and a significant regional presence, Kelvin and Henry demonstrate our commitment to our customers.”
Kelvin, who is based in Cardiff, will be responsible for originating deals in south Wales and the South West, while Leeds-based Henry will focus on Yorkshire and the North East.
