Secure Trust Bank appoints two new NEDs

Theo Osborn | 12:45 Friday 30th November 2018

Secure Trust Bank PLC (STB) has appointed Lucy Neville-Rolfe and Paul Myers as independent non-executive directors with immediate effect.

Lucy currently serves as a member of the House of Lords and was a minister in the business and culture departments and in HM Treasury from 2014-17.

She is a non-executive director at Capita PLC and previously spent 15 years at Tesco, during which she served as a main board executive director.

Paul is currently the chief executive officer at GKBK Limited and has previously held roles at Aldermore and Barclays Bank.

The appointments bring STB’s board directors back up to eight members following the resignations of Henry Angest and Andrew Salmon in August.

Lord Forsyth, chairman at STB, said: “I welcome Lucy and Paul to the board.

“Their considerable and relevant experience will complement that of the existing directors and will further strengthen the board.

“Lucy and Paul bring expertise in banking, consumer-facing business and governance to the board and I look forward to the contribution that they will make as non-executive directors.”
