Kent Reliance – part of the OneSavings Bank Group – has appointed two new senior BDMs as it expands its nationwide offering.

Krissy Salmon (pictured above) and Simon Ward (below) join the specialist lender as part of its continuous drive to increase its presence across the UK.

Krissy has been recruited to Kent Reliance’s team in the South and will be covering the south coast, South West and Wales.

She has 18 years of experience in financial services having joined from Shawbrook’s commercial team.

Prior to that, she worked at Accord, Lloyds TSB and RBS.

Krissy’s role will be to help drive growth by strengthening relationships with brokers in the regions.

Simon joins the team in the North and will be responsible for managing and developing relationships in the North West within Kent Reliance’s broker panel to increase business volumes.

He has 20 years of experience in financial services, of which 16 were spent at Lloyds Banking Group.

Simon held a number of positions within that time in a range of departments, such as collections and recoveries, underwriting, further advances, fraud and compliance, and intermediaries.

In addition, Kent Reliance has restructured its sales teams with the promotions of James Forth and Alan Kimber to regional sales managers, who will be in charge of the North and South teams respectively.

Simon Cockerill, head of sales at Kent Reliance, said that it was steadily growing its presence across the UK and this had meant significant investment in experienced BDMs.

“Both Simon and Krissy have an in-depth knowledge of their regions as well as some great relationships with brokers and so will play a key role in helping to boost our presence across the UK.

“As part of this continued effort to secure comprehensive coverage across the UK we have restructured our broker teams to ensure we maintain our position at the forefront of helping brokers with the most complex cases.”
