Ex-RBS director joins Triodos Bank

Tom Belger | 14:30 Tuesday 18th September 2018

Triodos Bank has appointed Rob Keegan (pictured above) to head up a team supporting UK SMEs.

Rob has over 29 years of experience in SME banking and previously worked at RBS, where he was director of corporate banking in south Wales.

He will be based at Triodos Bank’s headquarters in Bristol and lead the SME team, which provides term loans and overdrafts of up to £500,000 to businesses and charities that are creating a positive social, cultural or environmental impact.

“I have been inspired by the forward-thinking strategies that Triodos employs and the way it lends for positive impact,” said Rob.

“Even though I’ve worked in banking for over 29 years, being associated with an ethical and transparent bank which focuses clearly on the needs of society is a new experience for me.

“I’m excited to have joined such a unique and committed organisation, and I look forward to using my experience to support many more customers who are seeking to operate in a sustainable and responsible way.”

The appointment comes as Triodos continues to invest in growing a team of specialist relationship managers dedicated to helping businesses and organisations.

“Rob brings a wealth of experience, passion and leadership to the business banking team at Triodos,” said Rebecca Pritchard, head of business banking at Triodos Bank UK.

“He is the perfect person to implement our goals of supporting sustainable SMEs, which are the lifeblood of the UK economy.”
