Aldermore has announced the appointment of Alan Oliver (pictured above) as its new head of external communications.
Alan – who brings 25 years of communications experience to the specialist bank – previously worked as the head of external affairs at Nationwide Building Society.
He has served at several financial organisations as a consultant in the past year.
Alan said: “I am very excited about joining Aldermore.
“It’s a bank with a refreshing culture, strong values and an innovative approach to helping homeowners, savers, professional landlords and SMEs.
“They are doing a great job in supporting individual customers and the UK economy.
“I’m looking forward to helping to raise awareness of a bank committed to providing banking as it should be.”
Holly Marshall, director of corporate affairs at Aldermore, said: “Alan brings to the role a wealth of award-winning communications expertise, and we look forward to working with him as we continue to grow the bank’s message and brand going forward.”
