Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has announced that Alex Upton (pictured above) is set to join the bank as its sales director for specialist mortgages.
Alex will join the specialist bank in July from Castle Trust, where she held the role of managing director for mortgages.
At HTB, Alex will work closely with Matthew Wyles – the bank’s recently appointed CEO – to shape its push into specialist lending.
“I’ve worked with Alex since 2013 and she is one of the most talented and hardworking executives in the mortgage market,” said Matthew.
“Specialist lending is [a] hugely important focus for us and Alex will play a crucial role in our success.
“I’m chuffed to bits.”
Alex added: “Hampshire Trust Bank is crystal clear about what it wants to achieve in specialist lending and its strategy for success.
“I am very excited to be joining the bank’s management team as we turn the vision into reality.”
In May, Specialist Banking reported that Alex was set to join Masthaven as sales director for its long-term lending division.
