Shawbrook’s residential mortgages team has appointed two new business development managers for the North and South.
Dean Linklater and Vicky Pearce have joined the specialist bank’s field sales team and will work with intermediaries across the North and South regions respectively.
Dean brings 20 years of experience having served at Abbey National, Magellan Homeloans, Bridgebank Capital and GE Money.
Vicky has previously held roles at Santander and Aldermore and has a background across commercial, residential and specialist buy-to-let mortgages.
“Shawbrook has such a positive reputation in the market when it comes to their service proposition and I really wanted to be a part of that,” said Vicky.
“I’m looking forward to visiting all of the southern-based brokers as I settle into this dynamic and welcoming team.”
Dean added: “I’m looking to build on the expert and progressive service that Shawbrook is renowned for, but I also hope to bring fresh ideas on how we as a lender can work with the new distribution route of mortgage ARs and DAs.
“Giving brokers and customers more choice, while promoting practices that encourage a seamless experience is key to this.”
Maeve Ward, managing director for the Shawbrook residential mortgages team, added that it was fantastic to have two talented and highly experienced business development managers joining the team.
“Vicky and Dean were the outstanding candidates for their respective regions.
“As well as being a natural fit for the Shawbrook culture, they both have intelligent ideas about how we can improve the overall experience for our brokers and new network distribution channels.
“I’m excited to see them put these ideas into practice as we expand our offering, while maintaining the people-focused approach to good sense lending that has been a catalyst for our growth so far.”
