Metro Bank has announced plans to open a new store in Southampton later this year.
The new store is set to create 25 new jobs in the area and offer business, personal and private banking services.
Situated in the West Quay Shopping Centre, the new store will have over 3,000 safe deposit boxes and free coin-counting facilities.
Metro Bank will also offer access to local business managers and bespoke resources from the Forum of Private Business.
Craig Donaldson, CEO at Metro Bank, said: “We’re delighted to be joining such a forward-thinking and innovative city as Southampton, which is already home to some of the UK’s most well-known brands.
“Our new city centre store will be more than a place for people to manage their finances, it will also be a real community hub, hosting a range of networking, charity and family events throughout the year.
“We can’t wait to welcome Southampton to the banking revolution.”
