Metro Bank has announced it will open its 49th branch in Ilford later this month
The new branch will create 25 new jobs in the area and provide a range of banking services to Ilford residents with the branch opening early until late, 362 days a year.
It will also offer instant account opening, on-the-spot card printing, safe deposit boxes and free coin-counting facilities.
Iain Kirkpatrick, managing director for retail banking at Metro Bank, said: “With banks turning their backs on relationship banking, we’re proud to provide customers with the ability to bank however, whenever and wherever they want; whether that’s instore, online, on the phone or on-the-go with our award-winning app.”
The bank will host a two-day grand opening party starting on Friday 15th September.
“Our grand opening celebrations are like no other,” Iain added.
“The party we’ve planned for the Ilford community will give residents and businesses the opportunity to meet our new Ilford team and find out what the banking revolution is all about.
“We can’t wait to meet everyone and show them just what great service and convenience looks like.”
The new branch is located on 114 High Road, Ilford, and will be led by store manager Mathew Bell and local director Isaac Minto.
