Shawbrook Bank’s business finance division has named John Hunter (pictured above) as its new relationship director for its South East regional team.
John has joined from ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance, having previously served at a number of firms, including GE Capital, JP Morgan, Deloitte and EY.
He will use his experience to support SMEs across the region with senior debt facilities and other complex funding solutions.
David Moran, managing director for the South East and East Anglia region at Shawbrook, said: “It’s an exciting time for our team as we further increase the amount of support that we can offer to SMEs in the South East and London area.
“The deep industry knowledge and experience that John has is a great asset to the team and we look forward to watching him work with local businesses, constructing funding solutions that truly suit them and the journey that their business is on.”
Since the start of 2019, Shawbrook has appointed three relationship directors.
John added: “I am delighted to join Shawbrook and work alongside David and the team to provide support to businesses in the area.
“The wide product portfolio that Shawbrook can deliver to clients, combined with a flexible approach to doing business, is what really attracted me to the company.”
