N26 has beta launched in the UK as it continues its expansion.
The German mobile bank will carry out a phased activation of accounts between now and the full launch which will allow members of the early access waiting list to open their bank account as soon as they receive the email notification.
“We’ve been working hard to bring the mobile bank to the UK so that people banking in pounds can be part of the N26 family too,” said N26.
“We don’t believe that anyone should have to choose between form and function.
“That’s why we developed our app to have the ultimate flexible, user-centric design – that looks good too.”
N26 also plans to launch premium accounts in the UK following their release across five countries in Europe.
